Urs Huwiler Assumes Operational Leadership as New COO

We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new key position within the Executive Management of Bucher Travel Inc.: the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). This position has been created to further strengthen our operational capabilities and support the strategic development of our company.

We are especially proud to appoint a long-standing and trusted member of our team to this important leadership role: Urs Huwiler has been named COO with immediate effect.

Urs Huwiler has been part of Bucher Travel since 2017, most recently serving as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and a member of the Executive Board. In this capacity, he has made significant contributions to the company's success — characterized by strategic vision, innovative thinking, and a strong commitment to quality.

As COO, Urs Huwiler will take over full operational responsibility. His focus will be on further optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency and innovation, and ensuring the sustainable growth and development of our business.
