Gstaad Saanenland is situated in the south-west of Switzerland and right next to the boarder of the French part. You can reach the region without any trouble by train or by car through the region lake Thun or lake Geneva and from Gruyères.
Gstaad, the region's main attraction, combines traditional values, a friendly atmosphere and fashionable elegance. Hotels, restaurants, bars and shops co-exist harmoniously in the traffic-free village centre. Gstaad offers an abundant choice of modern infrastructure and of varied gastronomic possibilities, and all this in an exclusive ambiance. Choose your host among elegant first class and luxury hotels, friendly middle class hotels or cosy mountain chalets. The village is also a famous Jet-Set Gstaad, which still kept its charming atmosphere of a Swiss village - the wooden chalets with bright splashes of geranium on the window sills.
